Upper Somersby Falls 54 x 24

Like a scene from a creepy movie, this shaded dell is home to a waterfall, it falls have three different drops in total. This is the upper falls and contrasts the dark of the area with the almost pure white of the water as it entrains minute air bubbles as it progresses down to the lower levels. Ferns and other tropical rainforest plants and trees line the banks to add mood to the image. To those experienced in tropical forests, the image conjures up sounds of cockatoos, parakeets and lyrebirds along with a whole chorus of frogs and insects.
