Desert Waters Meet 63 x 18

Hidden about 2,000 feet below this high desert rim we see the course of two rivers cut into the canyon. This is a point where the Colorado River is joined by a relatively small seasonal creek. There are hundreds of such meetings of the rivers along the course of the Colorado, each adding to the total flow, which makes this an impressive sight. The carving of the rocks shows the softest rocks, which are subject to erosion, and therefore it cuts a crooked path down to the lower elevations.
